Queen Elizabeth national park, named after queen of England in 1954 is one of the most popular parks in the Uganda located in the western part of Uganda lying between Lake George and Edward with kazinga channel crossing through its 700sq mile land area endowed with great diversity of habitats that include lakes, savannah grassland, forest and wetlands that serve as a home to 618 bird species, 95 mammals including big game, 10 primate species.

The 7 days game viewing and gorilla experience features gorilla tracking in a company of an experience ranger guide in search for the forest giants and other primates along the forest trail like l’hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and black and white tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, baboons.  Visit to the last remaining members of the endangered Batwa pygmy tribe living harmoniously with great giants of the forest in Bwindi

Itinerary

You will arrive at Entebbe international airport where our guide will meet you and welcome you in the pearl of Africa and then transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Early in the morning, embark on a 389km journey to Queen Elizabeth national park through Masaka-Mbarara road, with stopover at equator point in kayabwe for equator water experiment experience, photo shoot and shopping moment after which we proceed with journey with several stopovers enroute for food shopping at (Lukaya, Masaka and Mbarara town) arriving late evening In the park for lodge check in, dinner and overnight.

After early morning breakfast, embark on 3-4hours morning game drive in kasenyi exploring queens Elizabeth parks rolling savannah landscape dotted with counts of wild game including, elephant, buffalo, lion, waterbuck, leopard, Uganda kob, warthog, and not forgetting about the birds and primates .

Retreat from the activity and drive back to the lodge for lunch session after which we shall gather at mweya for afternoon 2 hours thrilling boat cruise along the 40km kazinga channel to view some of the largest concentration of hippos in the world, crocodiles ,elephants and buffaloes Basking across the shores of channel. Retreat from the activity and connect to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight

After early morning breakfast, connect to ranger guide embark on 3-4hours journey towards ishasha sector in search of tree climbing taking mid morning rest while lodging their bodies in between tree branches. Retreat from the activity and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park for lunch dinner and overnight

After early morning breakfast, connect to the park head quarters with packed lunch and meet an experienced ranger guide for briefing, at exactly 8am we embark on unforgettable trek through the jungle in company of ranger In the lead and at the back in search for great mountain ape, our closest relatives sharing more than 97 % of our DNA, while on the along the way we are likely to see many different primates like white and black monkeys, L’hoest monkeys. After one hour encounter with the mountain gorilla you transfer back to the park centre for gorilla tracking certificate award, connect to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

After early morning breakfast at 7:00am, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (place of many little birds) Africa’s second deepest lake traversing through the kigezi highlands referred to as the Switzerland of Africa with stunning surroundings offering impressive spectacular views of the 29 islands. Under take activities like sightseeing and community walks, bird watching. Have lunch at the resort and embark on canoe/ boat cruise on the lake to visit and interact with one of the 29 island communities like Punishment Island Akampande home to unmarried pregnant girls. Return to the lodge for relaxation dinner and over night.

With the aid of sweet melodies of birds that will be singing, we wake up at 6:00 and have early morning breakfast and embark on 473km or 8-9hours journey to Kampala through impressive country side landscape of southwestern Uganda making stopover for traditional lunch at Igongo cultural centre for typical African buffet .proceed and arrive in Kampala late in the evening.
