This is a 14 days/ 13 nights safari tour featuring wildlife encounters, cultural tours, adventures, gorilla tracking, launch cruise on the longest river in the world, and on the 40km long Kazinga channel, chimpanzee trekking and a city tour.

This safari starts from Entebbe and ends in Entebbe an attractive, verdant town in central Uganda located on a magical peninsula on Lake Victoria, the world’s biggest tropical lake. This safari offers gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park, the park has almost half of the world’s  remaining mountain gorillas, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park a natural habitat that has one of the highest densities and diversities of primates in Africa, search for the rare-tree climbing lions, cruising on Kazzinga channel in queen Elizabeth national park, hiking the Ruwenzori Mountains, cultural tours, visit the beautiful lake Bunyonyi the little Switzerland of Africa, lake Mburo for a walking game safari and a boat cruise on lake Mburo, stopover at the equator and a city tour.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will meet you and give you a warm welcome to the pearl of Africa. He will then transfer you to your hotel for relaxation or choose to take a simple tour around Entebbe city.

Day 2

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

After having breakfast, you will start your journey to Lake Mburo national park, you will make a stopover at the equator Kayabwe Massaka for photos and the water experiment, and you will have lunch en-route. You will reach Lake Mburo and check in and go for a launch cruise, expect to see crocodiles basking on the banks, herds of hippos and different bird species. You will return for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Game drive and cultural tour

After your breakfast you will go for game drives in the park expect to see animals like buffalos, elephants, antelopes, zebras among others. Be ready to take pictures while you’re with the animals. You will return for lunch, relax and go for cultural encounters to the Banyankole community, you will learn about their way of living and many more. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

You will wake up for breakfast after you will start your journey to lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda known as the “little Switzerland of Uganda’ and its one of the most beautiful part of Uganda. You will have lunch en-route. And make a stopover at Igongo cultural museum for cultural encounters, arriving Lake Bunyonyi in the late afternoon, check in to your hotels and relax on the lake side, feel the fresh air coming from the lake, sounds of different birds singing and many more. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Canoeing and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After breakfast, you will go for canoeing. The lake has 200 bird species like the grey crowned cranes, levillant cuckoo, weavers, egrets, African harrier hawk among others. After canoeing you will return for lunch and depart for Bwindi impenetrable national park located in the southwestern part of Uganda. On your arrival you will check in to your hotel, relax, have diner and overnight as you prepare to tomorrows gorilla tracking

Day 6

Gorilla tracking

After your delicious breakfast you will meet your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing from the park ranger about the rules and how to behave when you’re in the wild with the gorillas. After the briefing you will start tracking in groups of 8, once the gorillas are sighted, you will be allowed to spend one hour with then learning their behaviors, watch them feed their young ones, play, feed and resting in their habitat. You will be allowed to take photos of the gorillas but the camera flash has to be off. The tracking takes between 1-8 hours. You will return for lunch and relax or opt to take the Batwa cultural trail learning about their way of living, their history and their traditional dance and drama. Diner and overnight

Day 7

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After having breakfast, embark on a drive to queen Elizabeth national park, have an en-route game drive in the ishasha plains before arving to the hotel, Ishasha plains is famously known for the tree climbing lions and other animals like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas and many more. Arrive in your hotel for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Morning game drive, launch trip and transfer to mountain Rwenzori national park

After an early morning breakfast, undertake a rewarding morning game drive in kasenyi plain where you get to see animals when they are mostly active, look out for animals like errands, topis, Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, African elephant and many more you will also sight different birds species during the game drive. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, undertake a thrilling boat ride on the famous Kazzinga channel with the highest concentration of hippos in the world, you will have sights of crocodiles basking on the banks, elephants cooling off, hippos in the lake and different water bird species. Return to the lodge, relax and checkout from the lodge and undertake a drive to mountain Rwenzori.

Day 9

Hiking and nature walk

This is really a great opportunity where you encounter the wonders in their natural state where you discover the hidden treasures of the park through carrying out hiking and nature walk which is done by the guide who leads you to the trails which provide panoramic view of creatures like Lake Muhooma and Buraro chimp forest.
Nature walks are conducted through communities of Ruboni and Turaco view which provides guided forest walks of various lengths outside the pack. Lunch, dinner and overnight

Day 10

Transfer to Kibale national park

After having breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and embark on your 5hour journey to Kibale national park. Upon your arrival you will have lunch, check in to your hotel and have a guided nature walk through the forest of Kibale where you will get to feel the presence of natural air and learn about different flora and fauna species, different bird species and also different primates that are spotted. You will return for dinner and overnight.

Day 11

Chimpanzee tracking

After your breakfast, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to the park offices for briefing by the park ranger about the chimp rules and how to behave when you’re with the chimpanzee. You will then start tracking the chimpanzee. Once the chimp is sighted, you’re allowed to spend one hour with them learning about their way of living, watch them feed their young ones, play, eat and resting in their habitat. You will take photos with your camera flash turned off. The chimpanzee tracking takes about 1-8hours. You will return for dinner, relaxation and overnight

Day 12

Transfer to Amabele Ga Nyina Mwiru and transfer to Kampala

After your breakfast you will embark on your journey to Amabele caves 10km out of fort portal. It is believed that the breasts belonged to a young girl called Nyina Mwiru which was cut off by her father (the king) for refusing to marry a man he had chose for her. After visiting the caves, you will have lunch in fort portal then continue with your journey to Kampala. You will reach in the evening for dinner and over night

Day 13

City tour

On this day you will have a city tour around Kampala city the capital of Uganda, you will visit places like the Gadaffi mosque, Uganda museum, Namugongo martyrs shrine and many more.

Day 14

Departure

Enriched with the experience of a life time and unforgettable memories, you will say goodbye o the pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of your flight departure, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight
