This short but sweet safari takes you the remarkable national parks including Kibale forest national park with a highest concentration of primates in the world with 13 different species of primates harboring over 1500 chimpanzees, hence called the primate capital of the world. You will track the chimpanzee with a chance to see all 13 primates in the park.

Queen Elizabeth national park with  the highest biodiversity rating any game reserve in the world with a total of  over 600 bird species and  98 mammal species including tree-climbing lions and savannah lions, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, giraffes, elephants monkeys, antelopes. Undertake a stunning game drive and a stunning boat ride along the famous 40m Kazzinga channel to view one of the highest concentrations of hippos in the world.

Bwindi impenetrable national park with half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. You will have this unforgettable once is a life time experience by encountering these gentle animals on foot.

Lake Mburo national park the only park that offers walking safaris sighting wildlife since it doesn’t have elephants and lions  it has 5 lakes bordering it with lake Mburo being the largest. You will undertake a walking safari in the park exploring wildlife on foot. The tour starts and ends in Kampala.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, our company representative will meet you and give you a warm welcome to the pearl of Africa. Depending on your time of arrival, you will be taken to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and an overnight. You can also opt for a tour around Entebbe.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale national park

After your breakfast you will start your journey south to fort portal, you will have lunch en-route. Fort portal rests in the shadow of the fabled “mountains of the moon” and is famous for her many tea plantations. You will then continue to Kibale national park in time for dinner and overnight.
Kibale national park is an extensive Biodiversity national park in Uganda and also known as the “primate paradise” the park has one of the greatest variety and concentration of primates in Africa including our famous cousins the chimpanzee, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among others.
There is also a wide variety of unique birds, forest elephants (smaller and hairier than the more familiar savannah elephant) and much more.

Day 3

Chimpanzee tracking

To the forests open its doors for sensational chimpanzee tracking experience. After having your breakfast you will meet the park ranger who will brief you on how to behave when you’re with the chimpanzees. After you will start the unforgettable adventure-hiking in the footsteps of the habituated family of chimpanzee.
En-route, your guide will enthrall you with stories and facts about the forest and other inhabitants including other species of primates, birds and other big mammals. Upon sighting the chimpanzee, you will spend one unforgettable hour with them as you learn about their life, feeding, playing, grooming, taking care of their ones, howling and screeching in their natural habitat
You will return for lunch and have a guided nature walk in Bigodi swamp. The swamp is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates. The walk will bring you closer to the local tribe that live in this area. Taking you 3-4 hours. You will return for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After have your delicious breakfast, embark on a drive to Queen Elizabeth national park driving through beautiful landscapes. On arrival, check in, settle for lunch and undertake a forest walk in Maramagambo forest sighting different species of monkeys, tree species and many more return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Morning game drive and kazzinga launch cruise

After your breakfast you will go for a game drive in the ishasha plains for tree climbing lions. You will watch them resting on acacia and fig trees. After the game drive you will return for lunch, relax and go for a launch cruise at kazzinga channel for animals like crocodiles basking on the banks, herds of hippos, elephants cooling themselves and different bird species. You will return for dinner and overnight

Day 6

Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast you will depart for Bwindi impenetrable national park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. En-route you will pass the vast savanna plains of Queen Elizabeth national park. Enjoy lunch en-route before reaching to Bwindi a home of the endangered gentle mountain gorillas. It lies on the edge of the Albertine rift valley in south western Uganda.
Arrival will be in the late afternoon, check in to your hotels, relax, have dinner and overnight

Day 7

Gorilla tracking

You will rise up early today and prepare for the highlight of your safari, an unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants! After breakfast you will be transferred to the park offices for briefing. You will then start tracking the gorillas which takes between 2 and 8 hours in step and sometimes muddy conditions with rain over head. On sighting the gorillas, your allowed to spend one hour with them learning about their behaviors, watch them play, feed, eat and resting in their habitat. After the tracking your driver will be waiting to transfer you back for lunch, relaxation. You can also opt for a community walk depending on the time taken on the trek.

Day 8

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

After breakfast you will depart the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo national park with a traditional lunch en-route at Igongo cultural centre, and proceed with the drive. As you enter the park it is likely that you will spot some wildlife. Check in to your lodge; relax as you enjoy the magical views of the park, settle for dinner and an overnight.

Day 9

Undertake a walking safari and transfer back to Entebbe

Undertake a walking safari in the park after having breakfast, you will come closer to the wildlife on foot, look out for animals like zebras, elephants, buffaloes, impalas (only found here), Uganda kobs, giraffes, warthogs among others. Return for check out and start your journey to Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for photos, water experiment and shopping at the art shops around with lunch en-route. You will then continue your journey reaching Entebbe in the evening.

Day 10

Departure

You will wake up early morning for breakfast after our guide will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight.
